Tasks

• Work alongside the infrastructure team to develop and implement best practices for security topics on both public and private cloud architectures
• Take ownership of, and ensure that security topics are prioritized within the relevant teams. Advocate and educate teams on security best practices
• Keep up to date with advancements and new risks, across infrastructure, and organization
• Create a long term plan to reach our security and compliance goals over the next two years

Requirements

• 4+ years of of experience managing Linux systems, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience managing and reporting on cloud security, policies, credential and permission systems
• Experience with designing and documenting resource & network isolation, least privilege, traffic monitoring, and monitoring systems
• Experience with automation in infrastructure defense, threat detection, prevention - and the tools to implement it
• Experience in one or more system programming languages to develop tooling and automation in the goal of more security monitoring and automation
• Understanding of security governance, resilience & frameworks, such as ISO27001, NIST, ISO27031, SOC2 or similar
