ShowHeroes and Traffective Join Forces to Create One of Europe’s Largest Independent Publisher Monetisation Platforms

BERLIN, Germany, March 06, 2026 – ShowHeroes, a leading independent provider of CTV and digital video solutions, today announced the acquisition of Traffective, a Munich-based programmatic monetisation platform specialising in full-page monetisation and display advertising.

Together, the combined entity reaches close to 2,000 publisher partners, generates more than 25 billion ad impressions and represents cross-channel advertising volumes exceeding EUR 10 million per month. The transaction marks a significant step toward building one of Europe’s largest independent publisher monetisation platforms across CTV, video and display.

The shared ambition is to offer publishers and advertisers a more integrated, multi-screen proposition that efficiently connects CTV, video and display — scaled through ShowHeroes’ international sales organisation.

Traffective will operate under the brand Traffective by ShowHeroes. For existing publisher partners, there will be no operational changes. Products, technologies, partnerships and points of contact will remain unchanged. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approval.

Complementary Strengths with International Scale

The combination of ShowHeroes’ SemanticHero contextual targeting technology and CTV and video expertise with Traffective’s deep know-how in programmatic monetisation and yield optimisation creates an expanded performance-driven offering with clear international rollout potential.

“Traffective has built a monetisation logic that has proven itself over many years in one of Europe’s most competitive digital markets,” said Ilhan Zengin, Founder and CEO of ShowHeroes. “Our ambition is to scale this technology internationally and connect it with our global demand infrastructure. By combining yield optimisation, contextual intelligence and our AI-powered CTV and video stack, we are strengthening what premium publishers can achieve across the full multi-screen ecosystem.”

Increasing Demand Across Existing Publisher Networks

Through ShowHeroes’ international direct sales organisation, publishers within the Traffective network will gain access to incremental global brand budgets. At the same time, ShowHeroes further expands its publisher footprint with strong national, regional and local media partners.

The integration also enhances monetisation opportunities by combining Traffective’s programmatic and display expertise with ShowHeroes’ content, creative and demand capabilities — delivering a more comprehensive revenue framework for publishers operating in increasingly fragmented, cookieless environments.

International Rollout of Traffective Solutions

ShowHeroes plans to gradually roll out Traffective’s monetisation solutions across its international market structures, enabling publishers beyond the German-speaking region to benefit from the proven optimisation logic and performance-driven ad stack developed by Traffective.
