The Role

Product teams deliver lifecycle improvements and innovations across our services such as online video players, content management systems, ad servers, and creative asset management. Each of the major product lines has a dedicated team working on new features and providing support on the product.

As a Technical Program Manager at ShowHeroes Group, you'll lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Working closely with the development team lead, lead product manager and director of product, you'll define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, and manage project schedules.

In this role, you'll exercise your business and technical understanding of digital media publishing to drive both short-term deliverables and long-term objectives of the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a mature, established product used at a large scale, but one that is still small enough for you to have a significant impact on future design and features.

The successful candidate will decide whether to work entirely remotely, from one of our 26 office locations, or any hybrid approach.


What You'll Take Charge Of

  • Drive technical discussions, develop and present technical solution options to internal stakeholders regarding product improvements and feature development
  • Create functional specifications, project/release plans, and roadmaps.
  • Ensure that technical requirements including dependencies are clearly defined, understood, and executed by key stakeholders
  • Track and report on project KPIs, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts between engineering teams, product management, and external stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project completion and product launches
  • Help prioritize engineering efforts based on business value, technical complexity, and strategic goals
  • Support the implementation of performance improvements, accessibility enhancements, and user experience optimizations


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years total experience in program/product management, advertising operations, software engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with digital media publishing, for example VOD players, content management, ad serving, performance marketing or creative production.
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising standards such as IAB formats, IAB taxonomy, VPAID, VAST, IMA, and similar technologies and experience with analytics tools.
  • Understanding of web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and browser capabilities, e.g. able to use the inspect tools in a browser.
  • Demonstrable experience with Agile software development methodologies and productivity tools
  • Ability to comprehend and break down business requirements, and relate them to the engineering planning and process
  • Experience with AI services such as LLMs, generative AI, or MCPs is appreciated.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication and technical presentation skills
  • Experience in providing technical guidance
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, prioritization abilities, and excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivation to work independently and autonomously
